Saturday 21st July - A Morning on the Chakras
The Manor House Dawlish, 10.00am - 12.30pm
We will practice poses and breathing techniques that will bring awareness to these energy centres and ultimately help to balance them. We will then have a break for discussion and light refreshments before enjoying a long nourishing relaxation.
Saturday 11th August - Finding your Feet
The Riverside Centre Dawlish, 10.00am - 12.30pm
We will focus on bringing awareness to and looking after our feet and then practice a number of standing and balance postures, including a walking meditation (outside if weather permits). We will then have a break for discussion and light refreshments before enjoying a long revitalising relaxation.
Yoga really is for All: all bodies, all abilities, all sizes, all ages, all genders...
Yoga for All is accessible for all abilities; beginners and those with more experience. If you can breathe you can do yoga and indeed breathing and meditation techniques are as important a part of my yoga classes as the physical exercise.
In my classes postures can be modified as required, or an alternative can be given so that everyone can access yoga in a way that is appropriate for their bodies.
There is generally a mixed age range in my classes and I can on request tailor classes specifically for children, teens and older people.
It is a myth that you have to be skinny and flexible to do yoga. Yoga improves fitness and well-being for all, but works on so much more than the physical body.
Yoga is not just for women, many men enjoy and benefit from practising yoga too.
