Yoga Classes for All Ages, Abilities, and Bodies in Kenton, Dawlish, Teignmouth, and Online

About Me

My journey in yoga began on a trip to India whilst I was studying for a degree in Eastern Religion and Psychology at Lancaster University. 25 years later I am still on that journey and have the pleasure of sharing it with others.

Yoga has become an important part of mine and my family’s life – a tool for our mental and physical wellbeing. I practised through pregnancy, took my daughter to baby and toddler yoga. Now as a teenager she attends my classes, along with my husband and parents. Even the cat joins in sometimes!

Teacher Training

Yoga Teaching Diploma BWY Level 4 (500 hours)

I have been teaching yoga since 2012 and trained for three years with Andrea Newman in Bristol, completing the British Wheel of Yoga 500 hour Level 4 Diploma. This consisted of eight modules covering many areas including Anatomy and Physiology, Breath-work, Philosophy and Meditation.

Children & Teens Yoga Teacher Training

I completed a certificate in Teaching Yoga to Children and Teenagers in 2015, training with Christiane Kerr from Calm for Kids.

Gentle Years Yoga Teacher Training

I am a fully qualified Gentle Years Yoga® Instructor. Gentle Years Yoga is specifically aimed at making yoga accessible for anyone with more complex health issues and older adults.

Continuing Professional Development

I am always learning, whether that be for my own practice or my teaching. I have undertaken advanced teacher training with South West Yoga Academy. And recent workshops include Qi Gong, Vagal Nerve Theory, Somatics and Applied Neurology.
